It took me 4.5 hours to complete this one. Use Blue Magic on the chrome and NTX on paint. Chrome was pretty bad.

your right about the steel wool i used it in combination with the blue magic on my old pitted rims obviuosly there`s no help for the pitting but the chrome was as good as new.Originally Posted by CharlesW
Fantabulous work.
I`ve got a couple of bikes in my garage waiting for me. Both are neglected, modified Hondas. We have a custom bike shop with our detailing unit.
I haven`t detailed any bikes since a Harley 6 mos ago, so I`m a little rusty. Do you think 3M Chrome Polish is okay? We only have the biggest names available, so my choice is limited.
Did you remove any parts to get at the paint (seats, mods, etc.)?

No. Customer did not want. Specially when it came to the 2 Nitrous bottles so I did the best I could around. To be honest with you I only use Blue magic I have not had a reason to use something else.Originally Posted by PEI Detail
Great Job!
For hard to reach areas use some old Luster Lace strips and put polish on the strips. I use English Custom Polish and Gords.

I agree with the comment about the blue magic that stuff works great, it is the only thing that worked on my bike.
So this Blue Magic stuff is the stuff to have? I saw it at Pep Boys today.

Nice work! I polished my Hondas and Kaws so many times I knew how many spokes on the wheels and the number of fins the engine had.
I really like the Maas Metal Cleaner and Polish and for tough jobs with oxidation or surface rust, I used bronze wool. Boat stores carry several different grades of the bronze wool,,,, which is too soft to scratch or dull chrome parts. Anyone else tried it?
