    Need Help Pricing RV

    Hello everyone!

I was called upon today to detail an RV i did last year with pappy. It is a 30 foot trailer. Its a 5th wheel. It is in good condition with no oxidation at all. I quoted him at 175 bucks for the detail. All i am planning on doing is a one step product via PC and then hit the windows with some IG, clean the wheels and dress the tires. Does that sound like its to little? I know its probably not to much. I was thinking 66 for the one stepper. Shoudl i avoid that with the fiberglass? Shoudl i get a designated polish/wax for the rv?

    Thanks

    Greg

Well it will be washed prior to my arriving so i will spray and wipe or use a qd to ensure a clean surface. I will be doing it alone. Im guessing i will have about 5 or so hours. Its hard to say. Last time i did it by hand. I will be on a ladder most of the day. I will aslo travel 30 miles both way to get there.

That is about right. I get $25 plus $5 a foot. So you are irght at where it would be for me. I also one step them, except the rough spots, with PWC. Works like a charm.

What pad would you guys use? I was thinking a polishing. Will the a light cutting pad and 66 with pc on 5 leave a hazing on fiberglass? I am thinking of getting some waffle pads for rv work.

    Thanks

    Greg
