Great idea
This is getting a little ridiculous.
They can`t make color-charged waxes for every color.
....orange, purple, green, or yellow, grey, silver, brown.....
then IF I get a different color, i`ll lobby for it then
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!
a test conducted on the dodo forums...
basically, from the top of the hood down to the front of the car, are different waxes. the columns, from left to right, adds 1 additional layer of wax. 1 coat of wax on the left, 6 coats on the right...I therefore prepared the white bonnet of our van and divided it into 30 panels. We would apply ever increasing layers of Blue Velvet, Blue Velvet Pro, Purple Haze, Purple Haze Pro and Orange Crush (we ran out of bonnet otherwise I`d have done more) over a couple of days and see the results.
The waxes were all finger applied and at least an hour was left between buffing/layers. The long cure would not be possible on a black bonnet on a hot day, but it was applied in average temps in our unit on a white panel, so there were no problems. An hour ensured all waxes had cured (the Pro waxes may take longer).
shot has not been manipulated, just the tape removed from the hood.
shot has been manipulated, to increase contrast to more easily depict the affect of the wax on the paint.
i`m unsure what the policy here is on linking compared to AGO, but it`s easy to find by googling "dodo juice test panel"
I tried to tell ya` (red orc)...LOL!!!
Dear Todd
So SEMA passed with no Blackfire news. Black Label, yes, but Blackfire, no.
Could there be anything new planned for release by the end of the year?
A "possibly" or "not at all" would help.
