    Black Fire Crystal Seal

I just finished polishing and putting two coats of sealant on both my car and truck. If I use Pinnacle Waterless Wash with Carnuba for my quick detailer will I be able to use Black Fire Crystal Seal? It seems like the Pinnacle lasts about a week max so I thought if I waited two weeks I may be able to use the Black Fire. I just am not sure if it would bond so I wanted to ask the experts. Thanks

The Wet Diamond Polymers in BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal are very forgiving. You could apply it directly after Pinnacle WWwC with very little to no ill effect.

Todd has spoke and he knows what he is talking about with BF.

I personally would stay away of Nuba based products if I wanted to apply more layers of sealant.

Agreed. They each have their own glow as well.

I would also go for the Wash without the wax then use the Crystal Seal. That stuff rocks!

    That is good to hear.
I have been recommending BF CS and Pinnacle WWwC to friends around me.

But then if I know I am going to apply a product like Crystal Seal after washing, I would be using a plain shampoo like G-wash or Megs RFEW.

Its strange how car care products in this case, differ greatly from everything I`ve learned about painting a car. Want the paint to stick and last forever? Better make sure the surface is 100% clean. Paint will only last as long as what it sticks to. But you can put crystal seal, which can/should last months, over a wax that will only last weeks, with no I`ll effects. One would think the crystal seal would only last as long as the product underneath it.

Maybe I`ll do a test some day, maybe do my hood, put carnauba on one half, then seal the whole hood. See what lasts longer... well, maybe on my wife`s car.

I find the BF crystal seal to last only about a month anyhow so it`s not a huge deal to me.
