    New Blackfire Wax

BLACKFIRE BlackICE Hybrid Montan Sealant Wax

So, can one use this on any color, or is it designed just for black or dark vehicles....

reason i ask, i love the entire BF line, and I want this wax, but no black car to immediately try it on!

i believe todd`s product info which states "BlackICE is designed for dark colored and black paints only!" for the $150.00, why risk it on a lighter colored vehicle. just stock up on some more bfms.

yeah yeah yeah , hahahahaham but we all know, we all must try the latest and greatest. hahaha

actually though i like when some waxes have a darkening effect on my cars paint, i assume this would too which peaks my interest. and like i said i like trying new stuff, if i doesn`t work on my lighter paint, i`d trade it off to someone with a nice dark colored ride!

    Re: New Blackfire Wax

I had to look up what Montan wax was:

    Wikipedia.

Montan wax, also known as lignite wax or OP wax, is a hard wax obtained by solvent extraction of certain types of lignite or brown coal. Commercially viable deposits exist in only a few locations, including Amsdorf, Germany, and in the Ione Basin near Ione, California.

    Uses

It is used for making car and shoe polishes, paints, and phonograph records, and as lubricant for molding paper and plastics. About a third of total world production is used in car-polishing polishes. Formerly, its main use was making carbon paper. Unrefined montan wax contains asphalt and resins, which can be removed by refining. Montan wax in polishes improves scuff resistance, increases water repellence, and imparts high gloss.

Yea, have to try it both ways, but stand alone would be nice to try.
