    Re: BFWD Problem? Very strange

Two things I can think of...

    1. It separated, which somebody who uses it would notice right away.
    2. It was exposed to moisture too soon. Although, during testing, I have nailed the surface with extreme spray minutes after wipe off and found only a slight degradation in durability.

Give it another shot, and if somebody is wrong with that bottle shoot me a PM.

    Re: BFWD Problem? Very strange

I`ve only had 1 car that exhibited this phenomenon, a 2003 Toyota Camry XLE. Regardless of what sealant I used, in less that 2 weeks the protection had vanished.

I compounded then polished the finish, I tried straight paint cleaners. Before applying any sealant I cleaned the paint with several different cleaners, not all at once. CarPro Eraser, Griot`s Paint Prep, Klean Strip Prep-All and an IPA solution.

I topped each panel with a different sealant; Ultima Paint Guard Plus, BlackFire Wet Diamond, Menzerna Power Lock, and Optimum Opti-Seal...but in the end the results were the same....

I`m at a loss for an explanation....possibly the paint?

Todd-after watching the AutoGeek video where you use BFWDAFPP on the black Camaro, the consistency and color looked similar to BF TPnS (hope the smell is similar too!). Is that what I should be looking for the first time I use it to know that I have it mixed up well? Thanks.
