    Durability, BFTPnS or BFGEP first.

Doing the first part of my winter prep tomorrow after work... The LSP tomorrow will be BFWD, and I am going to do some minor correction with M205.

Should I go with TPnS or BFGEP first? This car will be in Charleston WV so I do have snow and salt to worry about.

Since TP&S is an AIO I think it would be my choice under BFWD.

GEP is more of a polish glaze and really has no extra protection.

if you are doing the entire vehicle with m205 first and it corrects the finish, i`d just wait and go right to bfwd and do an extra coat of bfwd. m205 normally finished so fine, it`s usally my final polishing step. bftps has some correcting ability and will leave a lesser coat of bfwd. bfgep has no correcting ability, but will clean and fill some minor defects before a final coat of bfwd. if your initial defects aren`t too bad, you may be able to correct it enough with the bftps first and then lsp with your bfwd and skip the m205. do a test section with the m205 and another with bftps and see what looks best first.

Just to add I washed the car with Chemical Guys citrus wash. I thought I did enough to strip the previous sealant, but still had beading so atleast it weakened it.

I will be doing a extra strong D114 wash so it should weaken the sealant even more, and I am just wondering if I should skip the M205, the car looks fine from 5 feet away it has some random scratches but I know all this will just get worse in the winter.

Might do a test spot with GEP and see how it fills in. Usually the TPnS has enough cut to take minor scratches out.

You might consider just sealing it for now and save the correctio for spring. If you want to be done quick go with the TPnS then after your next wash put a coat of BFWD on top.

    Thanks folks.

I might spot buff spots and will wait for full correction till spring......unless I change my mind again

In terms of out right durability you will not see much of a difference, particularly if you put two coats of BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond on.

Use Total Polish & Seal if you want some minor correction.

Use Gloss Enhancing Polish if you dont` need the correction and just want to prep the paint for BFWD.

    Thanks Master

I take it the GEP will strip off the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal?
