    BF Detail

So I used washed, clayed my car yesterday. Then I used GEP, BF Midnight Sun Wax and sealed with CS. Is this enough protection? I was so tired when I got done with the GEP I skipped the GEP. Can this be added over what I`ve already done if I can get to it this weekend?

If you apply the GEP it`s probably going to remove the Crystal Seal and other protection since it`s a polish.

    Step one was the GEP
Then I waxed with Midnight Sun Wax
    Then sealed with CS.

    My two questions are.
    1) Is this enough protection?
    2) If I decide to do more this weekend, I can do the All purpose paint protection.

Sorry for the typo in the first post.

Thats a lot of protection and just me personally after that I would use BF Poly spray as a topper

I will say there`s never enough protection, but if that`s for a amount of time ( 1-2 months) of what your using the answer is yes. But if you just using that for your winter protection then no. The GEP is getting your paint ready for your LSP and I always recommend with Blackfire to go with the Wet Diamond then top it with the Midnight Sun Wax. Remember to apply 2 coats of sealant then the wax to get that protection your looking for. Always let your sealant cure 8-12 hrs between coats and wait 24 hrs before the wax.

BFCS is a sealant and should have been layed down first. Then top it with BFMS.

Is it enough protection? - What are looking for in terms of durability? I would guess this will last a month or so.

You need to always lay down your sealant 1st. So basically if you want to use BFWD (APP) then you need to strip off the wax and start over.

You could put BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection on top of the Midnight Sun/Crystal Seal and it will lay down fine. However, you will not get the MOST from it as your house is as strong as your foundation.

In terms of protection, yes you have plenty. I would stick with what you have, and when you see the beading fall off (I would guess 8-12 weeks with no additional toppers) apply another layer of Crystal Seal.
