    What is the difference?

I like most Blackfire products but have a question.

I noticed the polishes are pretty expensive. Okay, very expensive.

But since they are made by Menz. are there any differences?

...differences between Menz and Blackfire polishes since the BF is made by Menz...

Menz uses diminishing abrasives but not sure what BF uses...

    Re: What is the difference?

BLACKFIRE Polishes were designed in conjunction with Menzerna but are unique formulas that were originally designed to work with dual-action polishers on scratch resistant clear coats. I believe, at one point, a long time ago, the SRC Finishing Polish was actually Menzerna PO106FF (long before FA and now SF4000). That was changed years ago.

The SRC Compound has slightly more cut then SI1500 while finishing down quicker. SRC Finishing Polish finishes as nice as anything on the market.

With SRC Finishing Polish, it`s wipe off is incrediably easy, and you do not need to strip the paint before going to any of the BLACKFIRE sealants or waxes (unless you prefer too). There will be no performance benefit in doing so however.

Todd – based on what you described above, does this mean that the current SF4000 and SRC Finishing Polish are very similar in cut and finish?

    Thanks.

Yes, although SRC should finish on par with SF4500 which is noticeable on soft, black paints.
