The BF "trifecta" - the 50 minute detail

Decided to see how good my new BF stuff really does, so I did a quick exterior detail early this morning on my DD. So here`s the procedure:
    1. completely wash with Dawn, then washed again with BF Conditioning shampoo. Car clayed a week or two ago
    2. dried and used a GG6 with grey pad to apply TPnS - lightly - no real hard polishing
    3. Used BF Polymer spray to remove haze and quick buff.

I was really happy it does not stain trim with white dust at all, and comes off real easy. As a mater of fact, when you are cleaning it up with the spray, you don`t feel any pull of the haze on your MF. My first rule of detailing is EASY AND QUICK - and this fullfilled that - from start to finish in 50 minutes...

This is in my garage so it cures a bit - cloudy/rainy here - this is about 30 min after so I`m expecting more gloss as we go thru the day. The best way to show this is by how much the reflection is deep and this is cheap 3 yr old Honda clearcoat and paint.

Todd - I have left the trunklid completely bare with just the Dawn wash. When I get the CS, I`ll divide the trunk and on one side do Ultima prep and UPGP, and the other, TPns and CS....stay tuned!

50 minutes? Holy cow! I need to trim my time down a bit. I`m still drying the car at 50 min LOL!

Nice Job! I am looking for a TPnS victim this weekend. Maybe my car

It really could have been shorter and I think this is the break thru of this stuff. You effectively eliminate the entire buff off/q-tip manicure procedure of dusting and getting the white power out of jambs, etc. AND get a polish. I washed twice just to make sure all my other stuff was off and you could eliminate 5 min by starting just with the BF wash. The other thing that makes it fast is the TPnS goes on with a lubricity that allows the GG6 to move quickly over the panels...

I love how this industry is going: (times may be wrong but just for example)
5 yrs ago: polymers, but still dusting...
2 yrs ago: polymers that WOWA
    now: polish and polymers WOWA

Trifecta on the boat too - note this is paint, not gelcoat - the reflection is from 15 feet away and are the boards in the dock - marine whiplash:

Looks good Glen. Boats are a lot of work to keep nice and your doing a good job of it.
