    Blackfire Question

I have been looking back through all of the "Press Release" info on the new line and have not been able to find the info I am looking for. Most of the old line had a sticker or was part of the label that it had Polycharger included. .

My question is: Does the new line include Polycharger?

    And if it doesn`t why?

If it does why not include it in the marketing or labeling?

    Re: Blackfire Question

    This one is charged
    BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond Polymer Spray

But seems that is the only one that states so on the label.

Many of the tweaked (ie not brand new) products still feature polycharger, particularly if it was included in the original design. For example if you read the copy on Wet Diamond AFPP you will see that it is still boosted. Last sentence, third paragraph: Blackfire Wet Diamond, All Finish Paint Protection

Wet Diamond Polymer Spray is still `boosted` as well.

Many of the new formulas feature different chemicals that no longer required the additional benefits of polycharger. The heart of BLACKFIRE is the unique Wet Diamond Polymers, but everything was tested in different combinations (and re-tested and re-tested) until we found the best performance for each product. Sometimes making hyper active polymers more reactive can negatively effect performance (just as it can improve it). Rest assured the formulas you poor out of each black bottle are the absolute best performing we could make them, and IMO, an excellent value.

That works for me... Thank Todd.

I just knew that that was one of the BF claims to fame and wondered if it had been improved to the point of surpassing the need for Polycharger.

    It`s formula and application specific.

Take an all in one (I`m speaking generically). You have a mix of abrasive grains and hyper reactive polymers. If you make the polymers too reactive they may begin to bond inside the bottle to the abrasives. The result would be almost no cleaning ability (the abrasives are too buffered) and very little sealant coverage (again because the active polymers have began to cross link to other solids in the formula). How do you get around that? By actually using a chemical buffer that prevents the cross linking and requiring some agitation of the product on the surface (buffing until almost clear) which accelerates the cross-linking of the polymers to the paint. I`m not giving away any secrets, just saying....
