Really awesome way to show off the new line. The Merc looks like liquid in those last pictures. Really beautiful work Todd. Cant wait for the new products to hit the doorstep!

Aggressive Detailing
Given JSmooth`s excellent results w SRC Finishing Polish on a black Porsche I thought it would be appropriate to bump this thread. All of the correction was accomplished with this `finishing` polish.
This is the thread that made me buy all Bf products
Another amazing tutorial taking the reader step by step through the process including products and photo`s. It`s great to have someone else taking a few shots showing you in action.
I like the choice in pads....
So many are under the impression that an Orange Lake Country foam pad is very aggressive and in reality it`s far from it. About a week ago a friend stopped by and we were "discussing" pads and compounds. I told him I`d do 1/2 the hood on his metallic red Ford truck and wanted him to guess what I used.
To make a long story short, I did a rinseless wash, clay, then hit it when Menzerna Power Gloss and an Orange Kompressor pad on my rotary using slow passes. The finish gleamed and I hadn`t even polished it yet!
Needless to say my friend was amazed at how well I could finish this section with the pad and product I`d selected. I did bump it up a bit finishing the entire hood with Menzerna Super Finish SF4000 and a White pad and my Flex 3401....
I think part of this phenomenon is that most become satisfied with a simple wash and wax and quite possibly never have had the finish properly detailed.. There is no comparison...
Thanks for taking the time and all the contributions to Autopia Forums....

Glad I could inspire!!! And yeah that stuff is super legit! I did pretty much a whole single stage bel air with it except for some spots I had to to do some sanding on. SRC finishing did lighten it up quite a bit but I couldn`t get them all the way out. I do think though if I would of just stepped my pad aggression up it(was only using white) It would of got rid of them

Hmm looks like SRC might be a new addition as soon as I am done with my 2 bottles of M205.
