If it was up to me (thank God it isn`t) I would have released BLACKFIRE weeks ago, the bottles would probably not be in stock, I would have hand made labels (drawn by my 7 year old son) and everything would probably be out of stock in 3 days or back ordered.

It is a lot of work making sure all of the variables are in line for a launch, from label compliance, to bottle supply, to VOC certification, to manufacturing set up, to packaging, the list is HUGE. This has not even been close to a one man effort, I personally couldn`t do it by myself. Rather this has been a team effort and I while I will get a lot of credit, the team at PBMG (many who have but in extra hours beyond extra hours) are the ones who deserve credit, IMO.

Trust that I am just as anxious to launch the line as you, but doing so before everything is 100% ready to go would be irresponsible.

The `wait` is really a benefit as it ensures that you guys will get the products in your hands when you order them and they will perform to BLACKFIRE standard (or beyond as the bar on the line is being raised).

All you said is understandable, however, there`s really no reason to drag it out this long. Nothing should have been said until maybe a month before the release, not 5 months before. Then, just tease everyone for weeks on end with pics and information. For all this HYPE, the products better be above and beyond anything else out there.

At least BF didn`t pull a Lake country, and tell a release date, then push it back 2 months.

When we announced our plans to revamp the line, prior to SEMA, we announced the products would be available between January and Detail Fest. Due to overwhelming response, we decided to triple our efforts, eliminate 3 months of lead (until Detail Fest) and launch the line in January. Not only are we meeting the deadline we publicly announced, we pushed it up by 2 months.

I have found BF Wet Diamond and Midnight Sun to be two products that are VERY easy to apply and remove by hand.
I`m sure hoping this will be the same! I`m sure it probably will be.

Thanks for the support! I don`t take offense to anything (really), other than maybe Street Dreams telling me I`m not hot. I look at the anxiousness and excitement as positives but ultimately this line has to (and WILL) exceed lofty expectations.
