When pre-soaking at 1 oz. to four gallons in a wash bucket does the cleaner make the towels lose their softness after washing and drying? Sometimes I use a similar technique with heavily soiled towels and use another All Purpose Cleaner. After you wash and dry the towels the fibers aren`t soft anymore.

I`m 100% avoiding direct comparisons for a number of reasons. I think you will see a lot of comparisons between the two products. Power Clean is AMAZING, so to be mentioned in the same sentence as it (as I think it will be) would be so awesome. This is BLACKFIRE`s take on an APC and I think a lot of people are going to be really happy with it.

I hate to disagree with you on this one, Todd. I just used it on my tires and wheels at 3:1. No need to use straight IMO. I am extremely shocked at how well it cleaned at 3:1. I really expected nothing much at 3:1 but what I got was squeaky clean.

I actually like disagreements if they are constructive! I saw your write-up and I`m glad you are pleased. I have used it as far diluted as 10:1 for bug removal and it just took those suckers right off.

You could step up to 2 oz per 4 gallons if you want to make sure nothing remains, but in my testing 1 oz per gallon did a more then effective job. Then again if you have a freshly applied coat of Collinite 845, you may need additional cleaning power.

Could bf apc be used on paint directly, without rinsing? Maybe in a higher dilution? I have some pesky colonite 9xx that survived the wash.

Al, I put it in the same league with Power Clean. Works great from what I had to use on my engine.
