It`s a great item that works and still made in Japan. I have still 2 bars left to use.

Now if I win the BF sample contest, I`ll have to buy me some of this so I can report on the clay extender sample.
And dont forget the clay extender/cleaner as well..... Sure will it prolongs the life of any* claybar. I have bought these already but havent use it yet. The first clay i have ever used was the mothers. How does this clay compare with mothers gold class yellow clay?
(+4)
Edit: i have asked this question before and i remember someone told me that BF POLYCLAY II is more aggresive than mothers yellow....but it is not as aggressive as others may thought that could mar the paint n anyway with proper lubrications.

Ive used Blackfire clay for a couple years now and used in on at least over 100 cars the only cars Ive had get marred are a couple Prius and one oddball BMW with supersoft paint.
You can not use just soap and water for lube or it will marr.Make sure to use a good quality clay lube with it.

This is such as difficult question to answer...
Is it the clay that is marring or is it the removed contamination (which is coating the surface of the clay) that is causing the marring. The more contamination that is present on the paint, the more likely for marring to occur.
Extremely soft paints, such as those that are easily marred by a super soft microfiber towel, are going to be prone to marks no matter what product is used.
