I have a white truck and did a small test area by hand with a micro fiber towel. I couldn`t tell when the TPNS was "almost clear" The blue tint seemed to disappear almost instantly and my concern is how long to work the TPNS with a orbital buffer and polishing pad? It`s tough to see on white. Also..the claim is "No buffing" but another forum says to buff immediately. Is it best to buff..do it immediately section by section or can I do the entire truck and then buff if you think buffing is necessary? I`m really confused on this and don`t want to end up with strips like I have using the Gloss Enhancing Polish...never got the hang of using that stuff without leaving streaks and am teetering on going back to Optimum Poli-Seal and top with Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection sealant.
    Thanks for your help

some of the marketing stuff is not clear, I agree - it dries almost immediately after a bit of rub in to what I call a "Minor haze" meaning not like a wax, but not a gloss...a simple buff off with a MF releases the gloss...

you can do the whole truck and then buff....it`s nothing special....try crystal seal afterwards for a great finish.....

It does fill swirls? I really hope not because there is not worse a feeling that seeing the swirls re-appear after investing time. I would rather glaze them away if I get lazy or for betyween polishing sessions. Can you please let me know

    thanks

Jim, apply a little amount to the pad and work into until it appears almost clear. You can continue to work it for a few more section passes if you wish, then buff off immediately with a microfiber towel.

It has micro fine polishing agents in it, so it does remove swirl marks. But like any wax/sealant/polish (or basically anything we put on paint) it can and will fill in some surface imperfections. You will get some light filling properites, but Total Polish N Seal is not designed for the person looking for a serious paint correction. That is why we offer the BLACKFIRE polishes (as well as a host of other polishes).

My wife used it by hand on her white car and I used it with a porter cable on my burgandy truck. The results on both vehicles were really noticable.

Another great product. Thanks for sharing the reviews and comments!

Agreed! Husband used, wife approved (or the other way, we don`t discriminate!)

My TPnS arrived yesterday with those clingy peanuts. I hope to use it this weekend plus probably top with Midnight Sun (also arrived) for a test.

I used the Total Polish and Seal today and then topped it with Midnight Sun.

It smells just like Optimum Car Wash - yummy!

I will try to write a review later. I will use it again this week,

I also tried the new Lake Country backing plates for the flex. The LC crimson delaminated.

It does smell like Optimum Car Wash! Nice call, Al!

This stuff works really nice with a rotary and the LC Tufted Pads! I wish these pads were more readilly available as they are awesome pads for rotaries.
