5.5 inch pad, but BF TPNS break`s down so easily that a 6.5 inch pad will work perfectly fine!
Re: BLACKFIRE Total Polish N Seal - BRAND NEW PRODUCT
Thanks for answering my first question in detail Todd! I had one more question if you don`t mind. I tried the BF AIO on that Tahoe I did, and even on a pad with no cut it wouldn`t finish down without marring. the paint was fairly soft so it didn`t surprise me, however it made me wonder, does this product use SMAT or DAT abrasives? Jim theorized that it probably uses SMAT which is why it wouldn`t finish down perfectly on the soft black paint, and I agreed from the bit I know about the topic. Thanks in advance!
Re: BLACKFIRE Total Polish N Seal - BRAND NEW PRODUCT
I used it today and I would classify it as a very fine polish, maybe for water spots, etc...it disappears very nicely and offers up a good shine. I like it...
Any thought on using it on glass?

It uses very fine diminishing abrasives, I`m super surprised you got micromarring, what type of pad were you using?

Yes it is a very fine polish, as fine as any abrasive used today. It has more polishing power then gloss enhancing polish but not as much as SRC Finishing Polish.

Glad to hear Glen. Its perfectly acceptable for use on glass, although it won`t last as long as it would on paint (no sealant will). As far as cure time, it should be fully cured shortly after removal (assuming it is machine applied and worked into the paint. You can even remove it with Polymer Spray for a little additional durability (wipe the section off with Polymer Spray immediately after buffing the section).
Re: BLACKFIRE Total Polish N Seal - BRAND NEW PRODUCT
I just placed my order along with a bunch or other goodies. This looks like it could be the perfect maintenance type product to use of my vehicles that have already been corrected and just need a little more than GEP to perfect them before a fresh coat of Wet Diamond.

Crimson and Black LC both left noticeable marring on the finish.
Re: BLACKFIRE Total Polish N Seal - BRAND NEW PRODUCT
Another outstanding and informative review Todd. I like the versatility of BLACKFIRE Total Polish N Seal. Whether applied by hand or by machine it appears to perform superbly.
A great tutorial! :bigups
Re: BLACKFIRE Total Polish N Seal - BRAND NEW PRODUCT

Nice!
I put Blackfire on the top deck of my sister`s boat and almost killed a few nephews. Super slick! (won`t do that again) The protection lasted a super long time though :D
