    BFWD consistency?????

I bought a bottle of BFWD about a month ago, used it once and just recently used it again and had noticed that it was really thin, pretty much liquid. It wasn`t like this the first time i used it. I shake the body really well prior to use and then before each time i add more to the pad. Although i didn`t have any problems applying or removing i was just wondering if this is a normal thing.

P.S. the bottle is stored in a toolbox in my basement/garage where it`s a little cool and damp..

My BFWD has always been thin. So has all of my other sealants except DP Poli Coat.

Mine doesnt seem to be that thin imo, although I`m just getting into sealants. I do make sure I shake it regularly while I`m applying it though. How cool do the temps where you store them get?

I store mine at room temperature. Usually stays 69-73 degrees in my house.

My oldest bottle sat in my parent`s garage for a summer, was stored inside over the winter, and now sits in the climate controlled parking structure at my apartment. It has been exposed to a whole range of temperatures over it`s life, still thin as ever.

does everyone else literally hear and feel it thickening up while your shaking it, or is that just my imagination?

    Re: BFWD consistency?????

BFWD can separate over time. If it has sat for a while make sure to really shake it well (you can actually here in the bottle when it mixes correctly, kind of hard to explain). However, even mixed, it will be on the thinner side, and will run out of the bottle if you open the cap and turn it upside down. But always shake it very well if it has been sitting for more than a week.

The last time I had it, it kind of separated, but I shook it and although it was runny, it still cured and buffed out just fine and it looked great.
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.
