I`ve never had this problem, but some on the Camaro sites reporting that CS "attracts" pollen.

anybody seen this and how did you correct?

Haven`t you been using this for years with no issues? Did they change the formula up maybe?

    Pfffttt

    Anything stationary attracts pollen........

IMHO wax is more of a pollen magnet than sealant.

    Re: Pollen and Crystal Seal

BF Crystal Seal was re-formulated about 2 years ago. And from my own experience, I did notice a surprising amount of static electricity when applied to glass - my microfiber applicator pad was snap-crackle-popping like crazy. Based on this, I would easily believe a freshly covered surface with BF CS would attract more oppositely charge airborne particles.

Hmmm, my CS IS about 9 months old and still no static, I use a large microfiber brick to apply, wonder if that helps?.....

Could be? If I can find my bottle of BF CS, I`ll take a video of it crackling while being applied to glass.

Agreed! While pollen isn`t as big of an issue in Utah as it is elsewhere, we still have it. I`m a Crystal Seal fan and don`t find it to attract more particulates than any other sealant I`ve used. Certain waxes on the other hand are like a magnet. Pinnacle being one of my favorite beauty waxes can really suck dust in.

    Re: Pollen and Crystal Seal

I remember years ago putting a show car carnuba wax on the car just before going to a car show. It looked spectacular. However by 3 pm the car looked terrible with so much dust on it. The car next to mine was dark and had practically nothing on the paint. I was embarrassed to the point of never doing that again.
