    Hand application of BF products

I picked up a polishing Pal and a few pads. Orange, White, Black and Blue. The car is Red and has very minor swirls probably from washing. Should I use the white or orange with GEP, and the black or blue with WDAFFPP ? I know I can`t do much by hand. Thanks

Edit: I am going to use Mid Sun as a final LSP.

    I`d use orange then black.
By the way, do you think the scent of WDAFPP is strong ? Or is it me ?

I only used it once last fall, I don`t remember a strong scent. I will try to sniff it again next time.

I recently sniffed it, didn`t feel like it was strong.

(Unless they`ve changed it) IME the BF GEP is functionally nonabrasive or at least *very* close to it, though it does a bit of filling. The BF Polish (forget the exact name but it mentions Scratch Resistant Clear or somesuch) is, IIRC, a variation on Menzerna`s 106 family, and is functionally abrasive.

Not hating on it, I still use it for some things.

Ya know...I`d be interested to hear whether the filling from the GEP works well enough to be a good choice in this case. IF it`s feasible, multiple applications might be a good idea, but with all such products you gotta be awfully gentle about the subsequent applications lest it be a "like removes like" situation.

I have not had much experience with it. I did read it`s more of a glaze than a true polish. I think it removes the old waxes or sealants.

pgp- It probably does remove some stuff...I always thought of it as being similar to the P21s GEP. Heh heh, that "removes old waxes" bumps into the "you can apply it multiple times to increase the glaze-effect", but IMO this stuff really falls into the YMMV category.
