Grit stuck between glass and rubber lip - Help!

I started to roll down a window on my truck (I usually leave the windows up all the time). I heard a scratching sound and stopped. Apparently there is dirt and grit between the exterior window and the rubber lip that is scratching the window. I need suggestions on how to clean this area without doing more harm. Thanks!

What kind of vehicle is it? I had to take off a door panel of my F250 to get to where it had dirt and grime inside the door.

If you have an air compressor, carefully stick your air gun down under the seal and blast it out. Should work.

Roll the windows down, jam a cotton towel between the two seals and rub

My vehicle is a 2007 F250. The air compressor sounds like a good idea to try. Thanks!
