Review: Optimum No Rinse Wash and Wax

Car needed a little cleaning, figured I`d share what I did!

    Wash media:

I wont bore you with my method, or with before shots. I will say, I always presoak before a rinseless so I used ONR w/out Nuba as the presoak. My car wasn’t heavily soiled just some dried up rain spots and some light dust, you all know what that is like, so it was perfect for on ONR wash.

    After:

In my experience with ONR, ONR w/ Carnauba is much the same. The directions were identical. However, the surface left over is noticeably slicker. (I will note, I recently clayed, used Blackfire GEP w/ black pad, and applied two layers of BFWD) so perhaps that had something do with the “slick” factor. However it is noticeably slicker than the non-carnauba ONR. It left a real nice shine, cleaned really well and I was really pleased. I am a recent user of the new Pinnacle Waterless and Rinseless and the slickness and shine is almost on par. Granted it is just my opinion, I am sure you will and will enjoy forming your own.

Car looks great! This is on my shopping cart for my next big order. Which tire dressing did you with? Tires look nice and dark.

How did you like the CG towels? They are still on sale and I was thinking about getting a bunch for using in a Waterless wash as well. Put together a little package with towels, a small bucket and either some waterless wash concentrate.

Are you taking about their whack one day deal???? if so, those deals are like everyday all day, so no worries about missing their sale!

Oh really? Does it add a different looks considering the nuba content on the opti coat? I was under the impressions things didnt bond so well to OG/OC? Thats kinda of cool if it can, just another reason it`s awesome!

As many have noted OG does not have the slickest feel to it, or at least not as slick as most sealants and QD’s.

In the year that I have had OG I have used a variety of products to increase the slickness or remove water spots when drying. They all work, some better than others in terms of slickness or bonding durability.
Ex: Opti Car Wax, ReLoad, Permanon, UWWP+, FK#425, CG V7, ONR

What ONRWW does for is gives me the rinseless wash and quality of ONR, with the addition of a “wax”. So I don’t need to come back and use a spray wax if I don’t want to. And ONRWW lasts just as long as many spray waxes & QD’s. IMO this is due to the Synergetic effect that Opti products have with each other.
