    Putting Pre-WOW to the test!

Well today I had the urge to test some PreWOW on my own daily driver. My car does not have much trim to begin with, so other than standard washes, I haven`t really paid much attention to them. The areas that contain the most trim are part of the fog light housing and the side view mirror.

Being that it isn`t textured, and already pretty dark in color, I wasn`t expecting anything miraculous from BlackWOW, I was more focused on cleaning the areas up and seeing how effective the cleaner was.

Starting with the fog light housing you can see that there is some old wax and lots of dirt build up.

Here`s the top portion, clearly in need of TLC

Here`s your after shot. Clearly a night and day difference. There is some road rash on the plastic though, the car has 20K miles on the clock

This is what the Cobra MF picked up when wiping off the PreWOW

Next is the side view mirror. Also in dire need of some TLC

Here`s what the Cobra MF picked up after a single pass with the PreWOW

    Here are the after shots

In conclusion this stuff works great. It`s easy to use, and the included trim brush safely agitates the area to get a nice deep cleaning. That wax residue on the fog light housing has been on there for months. I was initially intentionally holding off on cleaning it until I could put the PreWOW to the test. As far as the sideview mirror, where I live the sprinklers contain awfully hard water that isn`t filtered by any means. Glad I was able to try this out, and share with you guys my results. Thanks for viewing.

Wow John that looks fantastic. I`m working on putting an order together to use my gift certificate I won from the Mother`s Vendor Chat Night. I`ve read about the BlackWOW and prewow products in the past, this is what i needed to see to allow me to pull the trigger on both of them. I`d like to add some more products to my ever growing arsenal.

John did you put anything on after cleaning the trim?

CQuartz is my new go to for black trim. This stuff is amazing.

That really cleaned it up nicely. I assumed the pre-wow was used only before the black wow, but you are saying it can be used as just a cleaner? It sure made the trim look better.

Very nice John! Pre-Wow has some "enhancing properties" but it`s temporary and isn`t intended to replace a dressing. It can be used in the same way you would use a "pure polish or glaze" before a show when you just want a quick improvement without much effort. The cleaning effects are permanent, but the color enhancing effects are temporary.

Good to know, Richard. As mentioned, I was only curious as to how the PreWOW would perform. Since BlackWOW has been around for a while now, I know that it performs above and beyond expectations. Thanks for pointing out the specifics on the PreWOW. Really looking forward to next weeks rain check chat room!

I wonder how this will work on the antenna mast on my Ram. It turned ashy looking almost as soon as I bought my truck. I`ve been wanting to try black wow for a while, I guess I`ll pick some of this up top

Wonder how this stuff compares to UTTG and the new Wolfgang sealant.

UTTG and Wolfgang ETS are considered sealants, where Black WOW is considered a trim restore product. All three work exceptionally well, but it`s up to you to decide which one works best for your application.
