Which brings us to the "texting", the use of "non-confrontational" expressions in regards to those in our lives. What I see in the Dalai Lama`s advice is important today. Lack of "empathy" due to the electronic use of communication.`

Some one, much wiser than me, once said--

Take care of your thoughts when you are alone. And, take care of your words when you are with people..

Today`s world is one that people forget the simple fact that what they "text or write on an internet site" is read and thought about by those who read it. There is no immediate reaction, like "face to face", so the one`s that just say things without thinking the words through. and the damage they may create, believe they are absolved of any personal investment of their words.
