Autopia Car Care "Official SEMA Thread"

I am fortunate enough to represent Autopia Car Care at SEMA this year. My bags are nearly packed and my flight is in a handful of hours...

Who is going this year? I am hoping to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. I plan on spending a lot of time supporting the PBMG family at the Autogeek booth as well as roaming the halls. If you see me either ways, please say hi.

I will be updating this thread with pictures everyday.

Just guessing but perhaps a day of the show announcement. And then again, maybe not.

Have a good, safe trip! Enjoy SEMA, Vegas, and the "extra curricular" activities that we all seem to find ourselves in whenever we`re in Vegas.

Re: Autopia Car Care "Official SEMA Thread"

Thanks everybody. I arrived late Saturday night, hung out with my good friend Cam Watson, then spent yesterday helping to set up Autogeek`s booth. I will try to get some pictures today and see if I cannot get them uploaded tonight and posted. If not I`ll get some up tomorrow night.

Re: Autopia Car Care "Official SEMA Thread"

And unfortunately drop from my about 6 feet up smashed the little lens on my iphone, so pictures are a little slow coming. However here is some new product information to keep you waiting (pictures coming soon).

Rupes announced two new 3" polishers, each with a large 12mm stroke and new microfiber pads. I have had a chance to play with it and it flat out rips!

Rupes LHR 12E Duetto - 12mm (1/2") stroke - This has a very DA like body with an on/off switch similar to the PC. The large stroke gives this machine really impressive power.

Rupes LHR 12E Mini Big Foot -12mm (1/2") stroke- Similar (although a little lighter) to the Duetto but designed and balanced for smaller pads. I tried and I tried to stall the pad`s rotation by pressing super hard and could not. Really awesome polisher.

Two New Microfiber Polishing Pads - Color coordinated like the rest of their lineup, these pad flat-out rip. Their is a coarse and a medium grade.

Meguiars has announced a slew of new products!

X-tra Cut Microfiber Discs- 20% more cutting power than their current discs (which cut great in my DA cutting pad comparison).

D302 Microfiber Polish- an ultra-fine finishing polish for use with their microfiber system.

Ultimate Interior Detailer- Wipe on and off quick spray that leaves behind a satin finish as it cleans.

Whole Car Air Fresher Odor Eliminator- Appears to be a fogger system odor eliminator.

Ultimate Black Sponges- Easy to use, pre-soaked applicators to quickly rejuvenate the appear of exterior trim.

Ultimate Black Tire Coating- Aerosol spray that provides a long-lasting (more than a month) coating (not sealant) to tires. Leaves a semi-gloss appearance that will fade away with out clumping up or cracking.

Dub Line - Developed by Meguiars
