Hey Todd any chance you could give this a go with 6` constant pressure CCS pads and BF duo? I know kinda specific. Just trying to see if I should be ordering new pads when I order the polishers.

The Rupes 21 - at least with the washer mod - prefers non-constant pressure pads IMHO. They work but need to be changed more frequently.

I have a black ZL1 Camaro coming in the next couple weeks and my current plan is to create some serious WHIPLASH with that bad boy (all BF). Stay tuned.

Interested in the Rupes pads vs LC pads.

The Rupes system, which includes the pads and correction polishes, works extremely well together. Everything, from the abrasive load and lubricants in the polishes to the foam construction of each pad has been engineered to work with the long stroke (or throw) of the Rupes Big Foot Polishers.

The was an interesting interview with Mizuno San, the creator of the Nissan GT-R. When he was asked how the Nissan can out perform cars that weigh much less and have more power he is response was that every ounce of the car is design to work together. If they increased power they would lose speed because it would upset the chassis, if they reduced weight they would have to rethink the brakes, suspension, and then engine. The point was that every system on that car worked harmoniously for the best performance.

Rupes took a similar approach with the Big Foot system.

Look at the Blue Coarse (cutting) pad. It features very big open cells which minimize the drag on the paint`s surface. This allows the Rupes polisher to achieve a high rotational speed, without modification, and cut away up to 1500 grade sanding marks. I appreciate engineering to an extreme level.
