DeFelsko PosiTector 200 Standard & Advanced

First we brought in 2 versions of the wildly popular DeFelsko PosiTector 200. These gauges use ULTRASOUND to measure coating thickness over various substrates including wood, composites (carbon fiber/fiber glass/plastic), ferrous and non-ferrous metals (steel, galvanized steel, aluminum) and just about any material you will find on the exterior of any automobile.

The Standard Version displays total thickness coatings (from substrate to the top of the paint/coating):





The Advanced Version displays individual layer thicknesses (of up to 3 different layers). Now you can monitor exactly how much clear coat you are working with!





DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 FNS1 Coating Thickness Gauge

The DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 FNS1 Coating Thickness Gauge uses a combination of magnetic and eddy currents to provided extremely accurate results on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This is a rugged design that provides quick and accurate total thickness readings. The DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 FNS1 Coating Thickness Gauge includes PosiTector gauge body, 6000 coating thickness probe, SPG surface profile probe, and DPM environmental probe in a hardshell case.





In addition to these three new gauges we also brought in some really cool accessories that compliment both the DeFelsko 200 and 6000 models.

DeFlesko PosiSoft Software:

DeFelsko PosiSoft Software works on Window`s based computers to keep detailed records of your paint measurement readings. The DeFelsko PosiSoft Software works with DeFelsko PosiTector 200 Series 6000 Series paint thickness gauges. This program allows you to create charts and keep notes on readings making it ideal for car collectors and high-end detailers. This software could prevent damage to your paint!

This is a super piece of equipment. As a high-end detailer I not only see it as an invaluable piece for my own personal vehicles but also think of the quality presentation it would make when a client sees this type of detailed read out. In combination with the IR printer (which allows you print on the go) I could only imagine the quality the client would perceive when you hand him the final paperwork after the detail.
