<strong class=`bbc`>I probably won`t use a topper since it seems like I might have to use Dawn to strip it right back off every time I want to renew the Klasse.

so first time Klasse application should be something like:

    1) wash with dawn

    2) clay (still have meguiar`s clay bar)

    3) wash with Meguiar`s gold class

    4) Medallion paint cleaner if needed

    5) apply Klasse SG

    6) Final Inspection QD

    7) install sunglasses and stand back :scared [/b]</blockquote>
I`d use Klasse AIO as step #4. It is also a paint cleaner but it, unlike the Meguiar`s, is meant to work with the SG. If you do use the Medallion though I would wash the car of the Medallion`s oils and fillers before apply the SG. Otherwise I think you will have problems with the SG bonding properly. Good Luck! :xyxthumbs

I thought the cleaner was just that, a cleaner. are you possibly confusing Medallion cleaner with #7 SCG (which is the second step in the Medallion ritual)?

I don`t think you need to do a whole wash between your claying and cleaning/swirl-removing because this step will remove any left over clay residue. However, other people may have differing opinions.

Although Medallion cleaner has less oils than Meg #7 & #9, it still does have oils in it.

I haven`t used the stuff but here is what the Meguiar`s website says about it.

    Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner
Introducing the finest way to prepare your car`s paint by hand, orbital buffer or dual action polisher. The <strong class=`bbc`>rich lubricating formula[/b] of Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner safely cleans away blemishes and oxidation, preparing both clear coat and non-clear coat finishes for Medallion Premium Paint Protection. Used after washing, simply apply a small amount to an applicator pad or a clean, all-cotton terry cloth towel, and gently work into your finish. With minimal effort you`ll remove fine hairline scratches-even stubborn stains! For use by hand, orbital buffer or dual action polisher

The AIO is purposefully designed to work well in conjunction with SG. I`m all for experimenting but for prepping for SG I`d stick with the AIO. just my .02 of course

Guess my rental car/ Win Wet Diamond!

You can answer one time per hint given. I will give hints periodically until somebody wins.

All of my answers will be encrypted and I will fully enjoy not giving any straight answers. I am the one paying for the wax, so it is my rules. You must guess the make, model, and color of the car.

I am so happy with my rental car that I want to play golf...

    Yellow Chevy Aveo

    Yellow for happy.

Chevy Aveo, since it`s tiny, and probably can`t fit a golf bag in there.

Black Cadillac Escalade. I`m also adapting Jason`s idea for this give-away.
