I currently have 5" thin pro but the b&s 12 pack in 6" has the bogo hence why I was asking the difference between the two heavy cutting pads

I`ve used both on my GG6 and the LC Heavy Cut Grey Pad has more cut. You can apply more pressure too since it`s a thinner pad. The Blue B&S pad is thicker which absorbs more of the vibration and almost has as much cut. It`s also open cell so you don`t have to prime the pad with product (I still use Pad Conditioner). If you`re ever used the RUPES blue pad....it`s very similar.

Rupes don`t go on sale.
You have to wait for the gift card sales, then you can essentially get a (mathematically) discounted Rupes.
