Both.
Definitely prefer the cannon, but I use pretty evenly.

Now, if you will excuse me, I must go pray for wisdom from the Meguiar`s gods.
Both.
Hardly ever use the gun as I always have the pressure washer going.
Practice doesnt make perfect, the dedication to achieve perfection makes perfect. "Smack" (aka Mike)
Both only use when car is extremely dirty. I use sss in either with good results. Cannon with thick foam looks Kool and clings longer but after rinsing stays in and on driveway too long. Next rain produces foam run off
I have both but do not use them that much. I get better foam out of the foam cannon with my CamSpray but a lot has to do with soap dilution and mixture settings. Want more foam? Add more soap, Water quality also can affect foaming.

The Need to Bead
I have both, but haven`t used the gun in over a year. Once I got the cannon there was no going back.
Neither, but only because I can`t decide! I have a pressure washer and based on that aspect, the cannon seems to be the consensus.
I will have both when I get a pressure washer. For now just foam gun.
So can we expect a modular foamgun/cannon kit
Or?
Two thoughts:
-the pressure washer (without any foamer attachment, just plain water) does make it quicker and easier to get the "big stuff" off as a first step
-you folks who are able to keep vehicles marring-free indefinitely withOUT using a foamgun make me envious
Both
I started with the foam gun and ended up wasting a lot of soap trying to get clingy foam (1gal of soap in a few months). Haven`t touched it since I got the foam Cannon about a year ago.
I stepped up to the foam cannon and love it but I also feel it`s still a waste of soap/time (although I only put 1oz in it). Now, I mostly use it when doing a decontamination wash as it allows the Iron-X to work longer benth the foam. It also looks cool so I pull it out if the kids or friends are helping out.
I find I get the same results (clean mar-free-paint) during a weekly wash with or without the pressure washer and foam cannon, and it takes less time not to pull it out from the basement.
I`ve actually been debating if I`m going to use the pressure washer and foam cannon or not for my weekly maintenance wash today after work (might just do a URW or two bucket), also on the fence about which LSP to apply until I get around to coating as Fuzion lasted about one day (loved it but it`s about as durable as a paper bag in a rainstorm). Enthusiasts issues, lol...
