not really sure I`d do that ... we are looking for people who have towels with polish and wax etc ... wheel towels should be thrown away not washed .. the transfer of brake dust in your wash is not a risk worth taking ..

Steve, I`d love to say I had some nasty ones for you, but mine are only lightly soiled.

However, I haven`t washed microfiber towels in more than six months and have at least 150 that are about to be washed in the next week or two.

I`d be glad to take some before-and-afters for you.

I thought it was okay to wash wheel towels, so long as they`re washed with only other wheel towels.

    Am I mistaken?

If you are putting them in a washer, all the brake dust and grime will be in your washing machine and there is no guarantee that it will flush out before you put your other towels or clothes in .. if you are going to a local wash place, don`t sweat it as long as you don`t do your own clothes there too ..
I usually buy a big package of cheap towels at Costco or BJ`s and consider them a casualty of war ..lol

Re: Show me your dirty microfiber and pads

I have several LC Foam pads that were stained badly and I can`t get them clean. The polish did it`s job but the white pads look horrible and I have quarantined them. As an outside sales guy who is on the road I don`t have access to take pics of them until Friday. If the thread stays open, I will.....or maybe you can just feel sorry for me and let me be a winner.

Awe nuts, well since I went to the trouble... here`s a picture of my grossest brake dust towels. Typically I soak these for a while in MF detergent to knock off the majority of gunk and wash them after my "good" towels are done.

    Looking forward to the reviews!

Steve, I`m keeping my fingers crossed that Dwayne included samples in my order I placed on Monday.
LNR and Strawberry fragrance is on its way.
I also ordered another gallon of the glass cleaner.
My wife uses it all over the house. It`s supposed to be for my detailing.
It cleans stainless kitchen appliances well too.

Dwayne also said he plans on updating the description.
The water beading it creates on glass was never mentioned.
Will it be available in 5 gallons?

I don`t know what Dwayne puts in the boxes, so I really can`t say ...

The water beads because the surface becomes clean with no surface tension ... any clean and smooth surface should bead

Yes, I also use it all over the house, from dusting to mirrors and windows, stove top (electric), refrigerator , cabinets etc ...

Re: Show me your dirty microfiber and pads

    Here are some of mine.

Gearhead, this is the container I put my used pads in (so, they`re not really just "sitting around"). It gets sealed with a lid. So a bucket for towels, and a bucket for pads.

Here are some samples spread out. Hex Logic pads in Orange (5.5" and the 4"), White, and even a small MF Cut Disc from Megs in D300. Also a variety of towels, including my Costco throwaways on the right.

How about a near 50/50 shot of one getting cleaned?

And just an added bonus, this is the container (one of several) where I store my new/clean pads. It`s just about perfect for 5.5" pads. It`s a re-purposed CD holder!

    Thank you

Re: Show me your dirty microfiber and pads

Wheel, tire, and "nasty crap" towels. VERY dirty. Some used for waterless-washing wheels.

A few fairly dirty interior towels(bright yellow when clean). Some used to clean disgusting carpets, some used to clean and condition neglected leather interior

A bunch of my workhorse towels. Some have compound residue, some have polish residue, some have wax/sealant residue, some are full of grime from waterless-washing(excuse my photobombing foot)

My cobra supreme mitt, my WW towel, and cobra 530 towels. The 530`s have everything from finishing polish to cleaner wax to two different paste waxes to detail spray.

My dirty pads. An orange pad with poorboy`s master cut compound reside, two white pads with polish in one and a cleaner wax in the other, a blue pad with finishing polish, a black pad with sealant, a yellow hand applicator with Natty`s blue paste, and a red hand applicator with another paste wax.

I`ve gotten a few other towels dirty since those pictures too. I have LOTS of laundry and pad cleaning to do
