    Zymol Now Available On Autopia

I`m excited to introduce the next brand added to the Autopia-CarCare.com store....Zymöl!

    What is Zymöl?

Zymöl offers you a complete Automotive Enhancement System. The Zymöl Hand-Crafted system contains natural washing, cleaning and feeding products.

All Zymöl paste waxes are hand crafted from a carriage maker`s formula developed in the German town of Bischofsheim in the late 1800s. Though the original formula was based on animal products, it has been updated through research and engineering to be the entirely plant-based product it is today.

Zymöl uses nutritive oils to replace the oils originally found in your car`s finish without the use of hard chemicals or abrasives.

    About the Container

The Zymöl container is a 21st-century application of the canning jar, made from pharmaceutical-grade recyclable polystyrene.

    Shelf Life

Shelf life of Zymol products are: Liquids = 18 months, Waxes = Indefinetely. Store waxes in a cool dark place preferably refrigerated. Warm waxes to room temperature before using. Paint surface must be >65ºF for wax to bond. Do not allow any Zymol product to freeze. HD-Cleanse at least once every 12 months. New cars must be HD-Cleansed to remove shipping and/or `at-rest` coatings.

Not yet, although if there`s enough demand...

I already have one vote in for Zymol Rouge.

Don`t look at me, my estate already contains enough waxes! I just thought the real draw of the Zymol brand was those higher-end waxes.

I thought Zymol was out of favor by many Autopians. All I have ever seen is criticizing the use of Zymol and the many coats of wax that Zymol users put on their cars. Is Zymol better than what has been on the market for years? I am just kinda confused and hope that some one can clear this up for me. I thought Zymol and Nu Finish were in the same category. I`m not slamming the product, because I have never used it, I`m just going on what others have said about some Zymol products in the past. Not trying to offend, just looking for education.

"Paint must be <65F for wax to bond"

That is a pretty limiting product characteristic

I think you`re confusing the Zymol consumer products which Turtle Wax has the marketing rights to, with the higher-end made-in-Switzerland(?) product.

Could be. I guess since I have only been on Autogeek and Autopia forums for the previous years and Zymol was not sold by them and AG has rules about talking about items they do no carry, my education has been limited. I stay on Autopia now because ideas flow much easier.

Still confused. Zaino claims to use both yellow carnauba and white carnauba. Other threads have said all carnauba starts out yellow then grow through a "process" to turn it white. Is this correct?

    Dear allenk4 & Friends

Why, yes it is. Ain`t many people down in Stuart, Flardie, can ever use it.

But maybe it`s so good we`ll all drive to northern climates to apply it.

If I were PBMG I`d ask Zymöl for a custom label that adds, "If paint is warmer than 65°F, we strongly recommend Blackfire Midnight Sun as a topper." You know, so the paint has some wax left on it after application.

Thanks Jaddie, that is where I got some of my information from. I try to understand the science behind the product and not just believe the hype.

Zymol Glasur is luxury in a tub. This is a great boutique wax for the $$$.

It`s also is a supreme beader - which is rare for this type of wax.

Field Glaze is also a great spray wax
