The first batch of UDM 1000`s are not shipping with a printed User`s Guide. I simply could not get them through the printer fast enough.

So, here is the first draft as a pdf. I will mail all owners who register their machine a printed copy when it comes off the printer.

I will have the registration page done by Monday. I will send an email note to all owners to remind them to register.

Yes! I will issue a S/N for your machine and send you the stickers. Your machine must feel pretty naked!

I got my UDM today and there was a card in the box that reminds me to register the product for the guide. I registered it and it gave me a link to the manual. Thanks for the thought on getting that guide out, David! Is that guide something that may be shared with others who haven`t purchased the machine yet? In the persuit of education I know a lot of people who would be interested in doign a little more research on the machine before they buy it and being able to link them to the guide seems like a good way to do it. I could just link them to this thread if you would prefer.

Yep. Not a problem. I`ll make the final booklet available, too. I have a lot of content being created for the UDM site.

If you go to the UDM web site, the manual is there under the "How to Articles" section.

Ah yes... I see it now. It looks like it is linked a lot on that site. That is good. It makes it easy to find and reference. Thanks for pointing that out.

edit: Seems like something that we could probably unsticky since there really isn`t anything linked here. Maybe a modified first post to direct people to the UDM site for the manual or something like that?
