Just did a search for info on Swirl Buster...... and didn`t see any recent posts.

    Is it available?

If so.. any comments from those of you who have tried it?

Does it work any better than SFX-2 polish?

    Is the special pad necessary?
    Thanks,

I`ve got 2 of the pads but no polish. I`ve used the with OC and OP and it`s OK. I lke the thickness vs. LC pads. Especially good when applying pressure to German Paint. But other than that, it`s just a LC Orange pad on roids. Works well, no issues. Maybe I should try it with the Sonus products? I think it would work the same though.

ooohhh heckofa question scott, i just ordered my first cyclo so im well interested in thick pads like that, seems you gotta be alot more careful at least with the cyclo pads i have as they dont seem to have the density typical pc pads do. maybe im wrong cant wait to find out.

    Scott,

I have the DAS pads in 4" size for testing, but I don`t think there would be any benefit to putting the grooves in the face of the smaller pads. I can try it to see how it works. By the way, the 4" Orange pad works really nice.

Thanks, David. Just FYI, if you want someone to test groved 4" pads, let me know.

Okay... I will let you know. I actually have two new products that are in the works:

    1. Sonus ScratchBuster 4" Pad/Polish

    2. Sonus ClearCoat 6" Pad/Polish

The 4" ScratchBuster Pad is 2" thick, like the SwirlBuster Pad. I have not tried it on a Cyclo, if that`s where you`re thinking of using it.

Right now all I have are the pre-production samples, which are made by hand. The Velcro backing is applied by hand with less-than-adequate cement, so I always hesitate to let them leave the shop.
