I should have been more clear. I don`t use them for drying and only for washing. They don`t lint while using the Gary Dean method. For me this is where these towels really shine (no pun intended).

This is very true. I have experienced this as well.

They lint a little like I said on glass and grabby surfaces. I`ve noticed they`ve lost some of their softness and fluffiness too but I think this is just the natural course for all fabrics after repeated washing and drying.

dont apologize... This whole product side of detailing is a ferocious battle ground and social media is the venue for a lot of the skirmishes.. Its good to have your eyes wide open...

I have no affiliation to the Rag Company or Rag Master.. I have no affiliation to anyone.. I dont make my living as a detailer or through selling any detailing products.. And I dont plan on doing so..

If you see my other "best of" vid... Aka Wash mitts... Rag master had an offering in that but didnt make the top rankings.. (was Dooka and Adams)

All the products in this vid got equal air time and I tried to be positive where possible...

Planning on doing lots more "best of" videos... Detailing sprays.. drying towels etc...

This is a bit of fun for me, but I want the quality of the piece to be good.. I will never favor a product for any reason than its relevant merrits (surley that comes accross no?)

Cool. We have a lot of detail gurus here. Maybe ask them for some suggestions of things to test and companies.........

I`ve had similar experience. My older batch has been regulated to my special rinseless washes.

I wouldn`t say mine are linting, as in heavy fabric leaving a mess. For me, it`s like micro linting. At first, I thought I was marring the paint. I then took a different towel to wipe and the linting was wiped away. For rinseless, I haven`t had any issues.

For drying, I still prefer TRC`s older, blue WW drying towels (before they added the silk borders). The newer ones don`t hold the folded, square shape as well as the older ones. (I have, but haven`t used, the newer Pluffle towels).

    Time is money.
    I`ve got my towels I prefer !
There are soooo many to choose from.
If it takes me this long to determine how good a towel is I`ll never get anything done.
    I agree it`s an info-mercial.

at 12:20 in the part1 I talked about this precise thing..

Micro linting as you call it (great wording) this is caused when you overheat and degrade the polyster component of the towel. (typically from too much heat during drying, EG drying all the way untill its bone dry)

The normal linting (the short 2-3 mill fibers) thats "typically" from contamination.
