    PC Dry Buffing...Steve Poorboy?

    Steve,

Some time back you used a trem about using you PC to dry buff the car after removing the wax/sealant. However you never explained what that was. So if you have time can you or anyone else that has ever heard or done this.

Thanks it sounds like you level the product on the car with heat and thats just a guess

Hmmm, Maybe dry buffing is when you lay a MF on the surface and use the PC to spin it around. Think of the MF towel as replacing a MF Bonnet

    Re: PC Dry Buffing...Steve Poorboy?

I can remember doing something similar by hand many moons ago. It seemed like when I used the old Simonize Paste wax or Blue Coral, Hand buffing after the product sat overnight would bring out more shine. My guess is that it had something to do with the actual wax in the product, but who knows. My thoughts now are that the gloss and shine is accomplished through the polishing process and most of todays waxes and sealants just add a little to the look. I have tried the method of wiping off the sealant and then going over the car with a MF over the PC pad ... didn`t seem to add anything for me. Maybe it would though, with a carnauba wax ????
    I know I am rambling and I really didn`t add much ...
