crappy end to a good day

    Hello

I came home from school and found my dad washing his truck with all of my stuff. I was angered to say the least. I had just detailed his truck and now he went and introduced some nice scratches again. At least he used car wash soap. but he washed it with steamy hot water... a dirty mit and a dirty brush.. he dried it with a bath towel with paint chips to finish.. i havent gone out and done the total damage report yet. i figured i will stay calm away from it..
Sorry i just needed to vent

I detail my parents cars and then they rive them through the automatic car washes. I try to tell them not to but that is what they like to do. Whatever makes them happy is fine with me. At least they use the good car wash that changes their brushes, towels and those wipey things that hang often so they are never TOO dirty. LOL

It`s his truck, so he can do what he wants. Now if it was my truck, that would be a different story.

Don`t get too angry with him. Just realize that most people are not like us about their vehicles. Use it as an opportunity to educate, gain more business, or make your dad happy with his truck the next time you detail it for him.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Don`t be too hard on your dad Greg, sometimes we are nicer to strangers than to our family members, strange isn`t it?. Don`t worry bout the car, it`s fixable
A man has got to recognize his limitations, and then learn how to adapt within those confines. Then go out and conquer.
