I spent the last 2 days on this 1983 Mecedes 300 Turbodiesel, and I was really pushed hard detailing this car in every aspect. The engine bay was a grease pit and the interior had a very bad incident of multiple cola cans exploding inside !!!
Here is the the faded and badly oxidized paint that took me in excess of 6 hours to correct. All steps done with a rotary buffer.
The first step was to completely compound the car with Meguiars Power Cleaner Compound and a Yellow wool pad.
Second step was Meguiars DACP with a Green Edge pad.
Third Step was Meguiars Swirl Free Polish and Blue Edge Pad.
Final seal with UPP and topped with Nattys.
Note: Second and third pic is after initial pass with PCC. This stuff really cuts well !!!
