    washing mitts, sponges, ect.

what do u guys generally use, and do u ever not consider a type of cleaning tool. for example i never used a wool mitt, always thought it was best to stay with a cotton mitt. but lately my cotton mitt is getting old and the cotton strands are seperating from the mitt and i think it might be causing some problems. also do u ever use those cheap 98 cents yellow sponges u can get a discount autoparts? i`ve been using them lately because they were soooo cheap but since they pick up small debris and dirt, i throw them out after one wash and open up a new sponge, after all they are 98cents.

Natural wool or sea sponges are about the best that I have found, I have both. I can`t say one is better than the other but I always reach for the wool first. They cost a bit more than cotton but last a whole lot longer IMO

do any actually raise the level of scratching the paint while cleaning. i mean i dont scrub or apply pressure in any way, i simply sweep really across the paint. im just scared that using the yellow cheap sponges which seem to hold dirt in the little pores might scratch the finsh...

    JOYRIDE

If you are seeing specks in the yellow cheap ones then yes stop using those on the painted surfaces, they can be good on rims and areas that are not as touchy.
On the painted areas I use a real good car wash soap that has a fair amount of lube feel to it, then simply run the mitt across the paint, as your stated no real pressure. That should lift all the dirt if not then I can go back over those areas.

Also I see your in Miami great Monday night football win last night! Was a super good game!

Ater using both the cotton chenille wash pads and sheepskin wash mitts I am convinced the sheepskin does a better job in every way. If getting a sheepskin wash mitt noticed carefully those on the rack and pick the most plush one. Take time to notice and you will see that they can vary because it is a natural product. If there was just one left I would not get it.
