Ah, it is sweet when the fellas compliment you on your "shiny", "clean" car, when you know that it really isn`t that clean at all! Thanks to reading DC threads on how to detail my car, and thanks to the sponsors whose products I`ve bought, I`ve got a ride that will look "shiny" and "clean" to the average joe.

I was preparing to go home after church yesterday (translation: I was waiting for the wife to stop chatting with everybody who crossed her path). So I parked my car near the front door. A group of church elders were talking. When they saw me pull up, they started the compliments. All I could do was goosh. :jump

I had a compliment of "Wow did you just have your truck repainted?" And that was about 2 weeks after a exterior detail. It sure is a good feeling when someone says something about our work! Now only if I could get other people to appreciate a clean car :naughty
