    2001 Ford taurus

Ok i am still practicing on my familys cars.... My sister is coming home from college. Blue Taurus She really doesnt take care of the car at all it angers me..haha. Well the paint looks pretty bad. but i believe it can be salvaged. First i should probably use SSR2.5 but only have SSR1 so it will take longer. But anything will make it look better. heres what i will do...... Critized it like you hate me...PLEASE

Spray off all lose dirt. Power washer
    Bug and tar
Wash turtle soap 2 bucket method...
    clean tires and wheels.
    clay hood trunk and roof
    then rinse off with water.
    Tape off all trim.
take PC and Cutting pad and SSR1 all surfaces.
the wipe all excess off the car.
then Meguries gold class or Ex-P what do yall think????? Apply by hand and off by hand small sections at a time
mothers back to black on black trim
and clean the windows for HOURS
    DID i forget anything
Hows this i mean i want my family to say where did ya get the new car

    WHAT ELSE

Why not clay the whole car while you`re at it?? Are you being pressed for time on that? Definitely go with the EX-P since she does not really take care of the paint. It`ll last longer. On a side note...wouldn`t power washing the paint, especially when dirty, possibly harm it? Just curious. Oh, and good luck!!
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

I don’t know that you need to tape off the care. When I used my PC for the first time I did tape off all the trim. I was using PRO Wax products and I know they leave a white haze on trim. Since then time I have switched over to PB and Clearkote. Neither one require taping off trim. Saves a step and as we know all too well. Steps are time.

Make sure you post up those pics.
