    Question "Boning" Paint

Was talking with a fellow detailer this morning and he claims that running my P/C polisher to fast will actually "bone" or harden the paint and make it hard to work. He`s been doing this a long time and I really value his opinions.

What`s the word out in D.C.?

Never heard of this before. I have read lots of articles on buffing, too many to count.

Only thing I`ve heard is under heat (i.e. running maybe a rotary fast) the paint will soften (just while the heat is still on it)....

Wow. Never heard that, but I had a different idea of what "boning" the paint meant. Haha.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Doesn`t Ming Shine claim that by running buffers at high speed they harden the paint to the point that it doesn`t need to be waxed again?
