I recently got my car and the previous owner had changed one headlight and now the old one looks really ugly and you can really tell how cloudy and yellow it is... is there any way to clean the old one so it matches the new one....thanks

CLICK HERE That article might help you out. It is possible that you need to replace the headlight to make it match, but there is no harm in trying to fix it yourself first.
Waxedmax,
What type of vehicle is affected by this?
Headlight Restoration is a service I`ve been offering to the public, but mainly car dealerships. Have done several hundred sets, and can help you with this condition.
Any pics?

I did a quick touch-up for a guy at work with a mid 90`s Intrepid. His headlights had the same "candle in the darkness" quality as the car in the above mentioned article. A few minutes each with Megs #83 and a diaper and the lenses still had a bit of discoloration, but they were now clear...he said the difference in driving at night was amazing (I would say "night and day" but that would be a bit cheesy )
I told him that if I had a bit more time, plus some 2000 + grit and my buffer, I could make them new. I personally polish & wax my headlights everytime I do my car, so I don`t worry about the lenses failing

Are all headlights now plastic?
A man has got to recognize his limitations, and then learn how to adapt within those confines. Then go out and conquer.
Waxed , IIRC your using the Meg`s deep crystal system.
Use the cleaner on the headlight lens, that should clear it up some, (and you alrerady have it)
I`ve use Poorboy`s Pro Polish on mine and it clear up my cloudy lenses
Good Luck
