    Overspray?

My cousin recently had some touch up work done on his ranger there is some very grainy to the touch areas above where it spot painted during the touch up job. This cant be seen but it can felt very easily,

Could this be paint or clear coat overspray?

If so would clay remove it or is wet sanding the only option?

    Tommy,

Pics would be helpful.............. hard to tell. It could be overspray, it could be sanding marks (or sanding particles), it could be poor prep?

If it is in fact light paint overspray, clay should do the trick to make it smooth again.

I had the same problem this past weekend. Only the overspray was all over the windows and the trim. The claybar helped, but neglected to remove all of it. Would any of you attempt paint thinner, or nail polish remover on windows? or would it be too aggressive?
