Wetsanding or a rotary!!

I have never used the Meguiar`s pads but I like Poorboy`s SSR#3 and hear good things about Meguiar`s DACP
DACP
Sounds like the ssr2.5 maybe a contender though. It is on my list.

Agree with ncal. Although SSR 2.5 or 3 will probably work as well.
3 will haze - it is strong stuff to use with a PC - DACP or SSR 2.5

Nick speaks the truth. Heavy swirls require more than a PC. :waitOriginally posted by Nickc0844

I think we would all agree that a rotary is necessary for correcting imperfections but it is also a last step or not an option. Work with what you have and at the least you will lessen the severity.
Try Poorboys SSR 2 on a megs cutting pad and if that doesn`t do the trick step up to SSR 2.5.
I haven`t had the best results using SSR 3 with the PC ... hazing didn`t bother me but I got some micro scratches ... It does work great on the rotary though
Oh almost forgot ... crank the PC up to max after you spread the product around.
It`s what you learn after you know it all that counts ... John Wooden
SSR 2.5 or DACP with my Makita 9227 w/ LC polishing pad works great. Swirls are history in record time. I then use:
SSR1 with the PC w/ LC polishing pad
PwC or VM with the PC w/ LC finishing pad
EX-P by hand
Top it off with Natty`s Paste Wax
bling...bling
We should be receiving the 4 Star products this week (Friday afternoon) so you know what I will be doing this 4th of July weekend.

What kind of vehicle [Year, Make and Model] are you trying to remove heavy swirl from? To answer your question properly.
