Good deal Cam, you`ll be impressed with it. Like SHO said, play around with the dilution rates. I vary it depending on the situation. I personally don`t use the turbo brush because it doesn`t really go that fast to start (does yours?). But for the price, you really can`t beat it!

Nick, your right about the turbo brush it is slow. It is also too big to work with. I used mine for about the first two minutes then retired it.

I never use my turbo brush either. I don`t really think it does anything. One question.....I remember when I tried the sample bottle that came w/ the machine it left the carpet kinda stiff. Will Top of the Lines Rug Renew do that?

    Thanks

Heck no Cam, I totally forgot to mention that and I wrote that down too during the detail. I always make sure to thoroughly extract the solution though so they will dry faster.

    Question Brown Carpet?

I bought Top Of the Line`s Rug Renew and I put the solution in the bissell little green at 1 1/2 oz. to 32 oz. of water. The carpet when I was done was brown in some areas. Do I need to make it like 3 oz. of solution to 32 oz. of water to make it stronger or what? Here are some pics.

    Thanks

hummm, looks as if you broke up the stain, but need more power. That is the one downfall of the Bissel, it`s not a Mytee extractor ($600+). I don`t know what the suction power is on the bissel, but I`m sure it is no where near a REAL extractor. I have faced this problem a few times. I would make passes with the non-powered attachment with the hot water on and extracting at the same time.....one motion. This creates a rush of water and immediate extraction. In the end, the carpets just might need something more powerful.

You can certainly try a less diluted solution (3 oz.) and see how that goes :dunno

By the pictures, they still look better than before!

Be careful about over wetting the carpets when extracting. You will fight a stain with the extractor and cause "wicking" which is:
Wicking is the upward motion of water and cleaning solution during drying from the base of a tuft to its tip carrying with it any remaining soil and contamination, which is then deposited on the tips of the tuft.

To reduce wicking, pre-vacuum thoroughly, make extra dry strokes, and use air movers.

The biggest cause of soil wicking is overwetting due to technician error. Soil wicking can be caused by slow drying, overwetting, overuse of pre-spray, and heavy accumulation of soil at the base of yarns.

Wicking is the cause of "reappearing spots."

gentletouch, come to think of it, I used a lot of formula and pre-spray. That`s why it did that....I`ll not use as much formula now.

    Thanks
