    Cure times for sealants

    Here`s a quick ???

How long should you wait to top a sealant with wax and what happens if you top the sealant without letting it cure???

I think the consensus is 24 hours. Taking this from Poorboy, when you add wax on a sealant w/o letting it cure you are really making a blend of the two products and could affect durability.

24 hours is a guideline - if it`s damn hot and sunny out then I would say 4-6 hours - if it`s humid then better to wait the 24 to be saife...

I used UPP and then topped it off with npaste wax right after. On black it looked like it was oily so 24 hours for the cure time then top. I did it both ways and the cuire time is the key!

it would probably be a better idea not to use the pure canuba, but instead to use a sealant with canuba.... just a thought........
