    Anthony,

Thank you very much for sharing a very well written, informative article.

Have you given any thought to submitting your article to any of the car care trade magazines, such as Professional Carwashing & Detailing?

Well, I am in the process of writing an eBook. I think having my process written out and in one place is going to fix my need to see my work published. Thanks for the compliment, though.

I banned Ron Ketchum myself and I`ll ban all of his toadies too if that is what it takes to avoid that kind of attitude around here.
Does this make me a toadie? I don`t even know what a toadie is...

I do like Valugard stuff, tho

I`ve got nothing against Valugard. I just have a problem with the mentality of "this is the way you do it and don`t question me, damnitt!" I think that we can all agree that its not a good way of doing things.

Curious - and I have had a similar discussion before - Claying will remove IFO on the paint and the argument is that your only getting the "head" of the nail so to speak. If that is truly the case then would not a SSR/Polish get the body of the IFO since you will be removing a small amount of clear? I personally know what the crap in the sky can do to a new car (acid rain ate through the clear on my car befor I ever got it)...but if your doing a clay/polish regiment, your getting it all right?
You have activated my special ability....

Good post on clay I was not aware of the ABC system, seems a bit over the top for the weekend guy, but nice ot have the knowledge of it.

I personally love to work with clay and use ity on about all the cars that I do. Is that the best way maybe not but for what I`m doing it is.

Just as a suggestion on something to add to the whole issue of dropping clay!

If your worried that you may drop you clay... take an old towel/sheet ect and lay it down under the panel your working on you have a better chance of being able to save it!
