    Paint Prep

I`m going to give Dr ColorChip a try on a couple chips on the front bumper cover. On one the paint balled up ( both color & clear ) on the edge of the chip making a "bump" on the back edge of the chip, it must have been a glancing blow. What is the best way to remove this bump without causing a lot more prep & maybe finish work? I like the quick and easy way this system is supposed to work! I may just leave it as is if sanding is needed. I attempted wet sanding years ago and well it`s a long story but the paint shop appreciated my business! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: Paint Prep

Should I attempt to shave it off with a razor blade and then try the DRColorChip? I looks like a very small lump of clear coat close to the size of a pinhead. Kind of like a tiny flap of clear. Thanks!
