😟.... Wow, didn`t see that coming. What are the differences in Opti Coat 2.0 and Gloss-Coat?

Gloss Coat is extremely slick and Glossy. And as easy to apply at Opti seal. Being the new consumer version replacing 2.0 Opt Listened to the public. Now you can top it with anything and it will stick to it. This was not true with 2.0. The durability is down from 2.0 but the slickness we all love is there and OH MY GLOSS! Also being able to top it is nice! I think if you try this product you will be blown away. They were testing it for over 2 years and tweaking it to perfection.

Not to mention it will give a lot the characteristics of protection we all look for in coatings.

    Re: New Optimum Coating

I`m still trying to figure out if the durability hit really means anything. I`m still worried about wheels...OC 2.0 works so well I`m afraid to try anything else.

EDIT: I mean if the durability hit means anything for the average forum member...who is going to be doing stuff to the car all the time and probably is going to do some sort of maint. polish by 2 years time.

Well I ordered some, and will now coat my car, my own personal ride entirely for the first time. I`ll try and give a review if anyone would be interested....

Yes please. Debating whether or not to get this or gtechniq c1 for my car. I`m interested in this bc I can still top it with a wax if I want and I`m hoping it helps making keeping the car clean easier.

Thanks for the info. I loved my OC 2.0 at first, but started to think I might like something else better. Especially because it was a little tacky. I wonder if this will be what I am looking for. The one thing I loved about OC 2.0 is how thick it was once applied. Do you know how many microns gloss-coat will be?
